Learning about Behavioural Science and Animal Learning has helped my training immensely. My dogs are happier. I am happier. And we are just able to do more of the stuff we all love together. But I see lots of arguments and misunderstandings of the basic principles of Behavioural Science these days and I can’t help but wonder why that is. Have we fallen into bad habits of shortcuts and partial understanding when we approach these topics? It’s food for thought, I think.
