About Jessica Sky Elliott
Jessica “Sky” Elliott works as a Behavior Assistant at the Kentucky Humane Society where she does behavior modification for dogs with behavioral issues, as well as conducting behavior assessments. The goal is to make these dogs more adoptable and more likely to stay in their adoptive homes. She is also the co-director of Slugger City Bully Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about pit bulls and dog training. In her spare time she occasionally writes about her opinions and experiences with the world of canine behavior in her blog, Blog Slobber. She has assisted in various classes, attended various conferences and seminars, and in December 2013 she finished the Shelter Training & Enrichment program with the Karen Pryor Academy.
